Is there really a difference between this sheriff and sheriffs from the past? All promoted change when they saw their own opportunity. Was Lamberti’s any better, Jenne, now Israel. They had a different approach, but all failed miserably by creating a political environment where some people benefited, and others lost out or were even terminated. It all came down to certain rank and file members who indulged in being a rat. This all perpetuates by past PBA members and those who would do anything for stripes or a specialized unit. This place is a cesspool and we have knowone to blame but ourselves.

The city only won an appeal against the pension board for granting the increases in pensions to those folks in January because there is not a final decision from the PERC hearing officer. The PERC hearing is currently scheduled to start on June 18 for final judgment/decision from the hearing officer. Once the hearing has been concluded, sometime after that he/she will publish their final decision The hearing officer must first decide the proper remedy and formula to make us whole and from what date it will take effect. Then the pension can change the payments for those involved. But of course still nothing from the FOP maybe they are on a bike ride for a gay charity. God help us were going to need it with this bunch.
