Just putting it out there, would it surprise anyone if certain peoples laptops were taken and forensically examined, you know for pornography, of the foreign illegal kind.
Putting it out there for you folks in the SAO and FDLE (you dedicated, underpaid, public servants you all! ) to consider that idea. Seriously, if you folks come in and take a few folks out, its not like that solves some long entrenched problems that has given the place such a bad rep and history somehow repeats itself in a new version each decade.
Its now the opportunity to place a few good agents in the administration - people with NO local ties - and take an objective examination of the entire "culture" that has festered at the top for how many times and also created some real problem deputies (associate henchmen, petty criminals who enjoy certification and protection of wearing a badge and having access to databases and other things to misuse.....
See if anyone has maybe swapped out motherboard or hard drives that are newer than the computer in which they are installed. Think like a sexual pervert "how would a sicko cover their tracks"... The servers would be interesting to examine, imagine the shit which has gone through those things over the years when special people did anything and everything that pleased them because they were basically untouchable. Some really smart clever, but not mastermind members of the department maybe have some interesting ideas of what makes suitable internet browsing choices. The things which go on behind closed doors unchecked, unbothered should maybe be of concern to the likely incoming appointee - not that he/she wont have their hands full with other issues - the remaining baddies trying to look good, and the good people who have suffered the whims of mumbling ****sucker numero uno, who thinks he runs the place (basically he "did" because of some complicated arrangements and maybe "relationships"..)
