Hiring process speed and call volume?

I’m located in South Florida.. we had recruiters coming in saying they need about 300 officers.

I’m going to be certified within a month.. does anyone know how quick is the hiring process due to their demand for 300 officers?

Also what should I expect as far as number of calls? Is this a slower paced department or are you humping calls?
