Has anyone taken a look at Bill Prummell’s assets vs his income? I don’t know, maybe DEA, Homeland Security.... Being the sheriff of a county like Charlotte with open sea to shore access could be highly attractive to certain underworld factions. Someone with less than high moral fiber may be very susceptible and accepting of the bounty that could be harvested by doing as little as looking the other way and making sure there would be an unhindered path. I don’t know, just thinking out loud.
