It's amazing how the many years of Mike Scott's failures (in promotions and leadership choices) are finally catching up to Lee County in the form of rampant violent crime. Any kick a$$ units that used to exist and that made a difference in crime rates are now non-existent. All of the awesome guys and gals who really went after the worst criminals were either forced out of the agency or put into pointless positions where they can't rock the LCSO liability boat. There's not a day that goes by anymore where you don't see one or two homicides. At least the undersheriff has his white shirt crew to stand by his side twice a day for his press conferences on the killings.
