Morale at Pinecrest PD

There is zero, nada, zip morale at that department. Only fear and intimidation from the Chief and his staff. A real Hialeah PD style place. Watch out if he doesn’t like you. He will write you up without cause or fire you. The officers want a change in leadership but are afraid to say anything out of fear that they will be retaliated upon. Even with a vote of “No Confidence” in the Chief a few years ago, he has remained in his position. Officers come and go so fast it will make your head spin. Very few veterans left there. Ask anyone who has worked there and they will tell you the same thing. One of the worst departments in Miami-Dade County.
